Mamma Onesta's: Authentic Italian Dining Experience in Lockport

Cozy italian themes to go along with a good variety of food and drinks. They had many martinis to choose from. We had the carbonara and the ashley, both were worth the trip. The starters were plentiful, offering awesome buttery garlic rolls to start. Try the sautéed calamari, much lighter and more flavorful than fried. Staff were friendly and attentive. I would go back and recommend to any first timers. They have been around for a long time and seem to have a loyal following.

We had a really nice experience at Mamma Onesta’s. The ambiance and lighting create a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels perfect for a relaxed evening out. It’s definitely a slower-paced restaurant meant for enjoying the company you’re with, not rushing through a meal. The bruschetta was delicious, and overall the food was good. Our waitress, Nicole, truly stood out she was incredibly helpful and attentive with my dairy-free allergy, which made the experience much more comfortable and enjoyable. This is a great spot if you’re looking to unwind, enjoy conversation, and take your time over a meal.

Came here for a birthday dinner with family. The staff was very accommodating at the start, and we were one of the first tables seated on a Friday night around 5:30pm. Appetizers were tasty and the drinks were good. As the restaurant began to fill up, we unfortunately saw less and less of our server. A couple was seated 30–40 minutes after us, placed their order after we did, yet they finished their meal, received their check, and left before we were served. Our server was often nowhere to be found. When our food finally arrived, there was an issue with my wife’s potatoes they were very undercooked. We had to flag down another server just to locate ours, and it took about 15 minutes to get the issue addressed. We had an infant with us and were hoping for a smoother, quicker experience at that point, but it felt like everything took a long time, including getting wrapped up and leaving. The owner (or the owner’s son) working the bar did come to our table and kindly comped our desserts, which we appreciated and was a very nice gesture. Overall, 4 stars for food and 3 stars for service. The ambience is average definitely nicer once the restaurant fills up. The food was solid but on the pricey side, and the service unfortunately fell short, especially considering our bill was well over a few hundred dollars. It’s nice to have a mom-and-pop restaurant in the neighborhood, but we’d hope for better service on a return visit.

Very nice place, quaint and cozy. Dim lighting, nice staff, decent menu options, food was delicious, drinks we ok. The garlic knots were very good. We will definitely have to go back because there were many things we wanted to try. We went as soon as they opened so they were not busy at all. We would definitely recommend you check them out.

We had a group of 10 and we were truly treated as family! The food was delicious and the staff was phenomenal! Very busy on a Friday night but we were never rushed and the staff never got frazzled. They were very inviting continuing to ask what we need and to fill water glasses even after 2 1/2 hours! All of the food was amazing but definitely get the charcuterie board! We really felt like we were at the home of a large Italian family!

My wife and I went for the first time for our 5 year Anniversary and it was excellent. The food was exceptional, the service was beyond great and we had a great time. Highly recommend you go there for Italian food next time you're in the area.

Our recent visit to The onesta’s was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us and made us feel right at home. As for the food, every dish was a winner. The portions were incredibly generous – we're talking about plates piled high with deliciousness! You definitely won't leave here hungry. Must try!

What a cute gem of a place. The ambiance is cozy and intimate. The service is attentive & friendly. The menu is superb, I had the sausage and mushroom penne, light red sauce and the potion was enough to share, if you wanted to split a meal or have the chance to try 2 entrees with a friend. They have a great wine selection and on Wednesday they offer 10.00 off per bottle. This was my first time here, but I wouldn't say it was my last.
